Marine biodiversity

Target group: 4-8 grade elementary school students, high-school students, university students

Optimal group size: 10–20

Duration: 2 hours

Location: Lošinj Marine Education Centre or the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre

Topics and activities:
This workshop introduces marine biology, ecology, marine habitats, environmental threats and conservation. Emphasis is placed on practical work, causal reasoning and understanding the importance of the marine ecosystem. Students strengthen logical thinking, independent work skills and ecological awareness.
